Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille has opened their third location in Captiva just last year. Now, it is contemplating to open Doc Ford’s in Naples area within the year. The owners, White, Marinello and Harrity, love Naples area and see the idea of Doc Ford’s and Naples a perfect marriage.
Doc Ford’s currently have three branches. There is one in Sanibel, which opened in 2003. The second was opened in 2009 in Fort Myers Beach. The most current was in Captiva built in 2013. Aside from Naples, the trio is looking at possible expansions at Sarasota and Key West.
Doc Ford’s is known for its laid-back island theme. With a great seafood-inspired menu, many of its customers are coming back for more for its mouthwatering dishes. Deep Water Mahi-Mahi, raw oysters, Captiva Crab Cakes, and Drunken Parrot Carrot Cake for dessert are just a few of the dishes included in Doc Ford’s menu.
White, Marinello, and Harrity believe that the financial success of their restaurant chain is not only attributed to the food they serve and the ambiance. One of the most important for the success of Doc Ford’s is their most valued asset and that is the people, who are working in every Doc Ford’s restaurant. All of employees at Doc Ford’s have undergone intensive training to only provide the most excellent service in the restaurant industry.
