There are a lot of shopping malls near the western side of the community especially at the Golden Gate City like the Golden Gate Shopping Center, the Crossroads Market, the Berkshire Commons, and the Collier/Davis Commons. There is one shopping center located near the Interstate-75 Exit, along 20th Avenue Southeast, the Collier Consumer Square.
For medical facilities, the closest one is the Quality Medical Care located at Golden Gate Parkway, the Korunda Medical Institute, and the Naples Cosmetic Surgery Center.
For recreational activities, residents of Golden Gate Estates can visit the Melle Meade and the Picayune Strand State Forest. Melle Meade is the perfect place for equestrian with its picturesque routes passing through beautiful, lush nature preserves. The NGALA Wildlife Reserve is situated at Inez Road within the community. Generally, most of the basic necessities from pharmacies, groceries, schools, restaurants, gas stations, and specialty shops are located near the western portion of the community or at the Golden Gate City. If you are looking for home with the most convenient location, then the home options at the western side would be the best option to consider. Home prices on these areas are also relatively higher compared to those located near the eastern border.
